What is Safe-to-Spend?
Safe-to-Spend is the money you have left after setting aside funds for your Nests (budget categories). It's the one number that tells you what you can actually spend without going over budget.
How do I connect my bank account?
Sparrow uses SimpleFIN for bank connections. Go to Settings > Bank Sync > Connect with SimpleFIN. You'll create a SimpleFIN account and connect your banks there. Sparrow will then automatically import your transactions.
Is my financial data safe?
Yes. Sparrow stores all your data locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is encrypted in your personal iCloud account. We never have access to your financial information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to your device's Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Sparrow, then tap Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Premium access until the end of your current billing period.
Can I use Sparrow on multiple devices?
Yes! Enable iCloud sync in Settings to keep your data synchronized across all your Apple devices. Your subscription also applies to all devices signed into the same Apple ID.
How do I import transactions from my bank?
You can either connect via SimpleFIN for automatic imports, or manually import a CSV file. For CSV import, go to Settings > Import Transactions. Sparrow supports CSV exports from most major banks.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
